Ευπρόσδεκτες είναι οι κριτικές πραγματεύσεις της καστοριαδικής θεωρητικοποίησης της κοινωνίας, των κοινωνικών φαντασιακών σημασιών, της ατομικής ψυχής, της έννοιας της αυτονομίας κλπ. Ποιες είναι οι καινούριες τάσεις στο εσωτερικό του καπιταλιστικού φαντασιακού; Πώς θα μπορούσαμε να σκεφτούμε σήμερα για το κοινωνικοϊστορικό; Μας βοηθούν οι ιδέες του φιλοσόφου να προσεγγίσουμε και να υπερβούμε τη σύγχρονη κρίση των κοινωνιών μας; Τι κατευθύνσεις ανοίγει το καστοριαδικό έργο για περαιτέρω θεωρητικό στοχασμό;

Conference: Cornelius Castoriadis’ social and political thought. 20 years after

Cornelius Castoriadis passed away in Paris on December 26th 1997. Today, two decades after his death, his philosophical concepts penetrate not only the discourse and the practices of social movements, but also various fields of the philosophical debate outside and within academic institutions: PhD theses, new books, articles in philosophical reviews research the impact and influence of Castoriadis’ ideas.
The MSc Program “Political Science and History” of the Department of Political Science and History of Panteion University in Athens organizes an international conference on all aspects of C.
